KATIE LINS, owner of Red Gate Riding, has earned a horse judging scholarship to Northeastern Oklahoma A & M where she competed at the national and international level including the American Quarter Horse World Show, National Reining Horse Futurity, Denver National Stock Show and the American Quarter Horse Congress.  Then earned her AAS in Equine Science from Northeastern Oklahoma.  Later continued her studies at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls where she earned a BS in Animal Science and Equine Science.  Katie found herself judging, training horses on the side, giving riding lessons and working at a boarding facility while in River Falls.  Upon graduating, she worked as an equine representative at an animal health company in Madison.

 


JILL OFTEDAHL has been around horses since she was born.  She started trail riding as young girl and started showing in 4H and Saddle Club in PeeWee classes.  She has trained horses and given lessons since high school.  She has been involved in horse judging at a high school level and also worked at a local veterinary clinic, taking care of many different breeds and ages of horses.  She currently enjoys teaching and showing horses in Western Pleasure, English and Showmanship.
